ISO/TS 16949: 2002:
MS 1722:2005 is a Malaysian
Standards that provides requirements on Occupational Safety and Health
Management System (OSHMS) and basis for the development of sustainable Adapted from the ILO-OSH MS 2001,
this Malaysian guidelines on OSH was a result of an urgent need for a local MS
that represents the nation’s commitment towards safety and health enhancement
efforts at the workplace. The aim of this standard is to establish compliance
with legislations and protecting employees from hazards and the elimination of
work-related injuries, disabilities, ill health, diseases, near misses and
